Never miss a credit card due date again.
Kuentaly keeps every card in one place: what you owe, the minimum, how many days are left and how much of your limit you have used. Upload a statement and it does the reading for you. Then it shows the month you can be debt-free.
No bank password needed. After the trial you can keep the free plan or go Premium from $3 CAD a month.

See the deadline before it sees you
Every card with a balance shows when it is due, the minimum payment and two bars: one for the days left until the due date and one for how much of your limit you have used.
- The time bar turns orange with 14 days or fewer and red with 3 days or fewer, or when it is overdue.
- The limit bar is green up to 30%, orange up to 70% and red above that.
- Register a payment to the card and the overdue warning goes away, showing “Payment registered” once it covers the minimum.

A nudge before the payment, not after
Turn on notifications and choose how many days before the due date you want the reminder. It can also remind you about recurring payments and unresolved differences with the bank.
- Reminders are checked while the app is open or running in the background. Kuentaly is a web app, so exact timing depends on your phone.
- Add due dates to your calendar so they sit next to the rest of your life.
- On iPhone, install it on your home screen for push notifications.

Upload the PDF, skip the typing
Upload a credit card statement and Kuentaly reads the new balance, minimum payment, due date and every transaction. The reading happens on your device, without AI, and nothing is sent anywhere.
- Built-in readers for statements from MBNA, CIBC (including Costco and Amazon), Scotiabank, PC Financial and Canadian Tire / Triangle, plus automatic reading for many other layouts.
- If a bank is new to it, tap the balance, minimum and due date on the PDF once and it learns that label.
- Premium: “Analyze with AI” for statements that are hard to read.

It tells you when the numbers do not match
When you upload a statement, Kuentaly compares it with your own records and warns you, without changing anything on its own, when an amount you entered differs from what the bank charged, or when the closing balance does not match.
- Fix it with “Correct”, add the purchases you forgot, or reconcile with the bank in one tap.
- Each card is tied to its last four digits, so a statement uploaded to the wrong card gets flagged.
- Your balance today is the statement balance minus payments, plus purchases since the statement date.

Payment plans and installments, tracked
Many issuers split a purchase into monthly payments. Kuentaly reads the plans on your statement, with the remaining balance, rate and monthly amount, so they do not hide inside your total.
- MBNA Payment Plans, CIBC and Amazon installment summaries and Canadian Tire / Triangle Equal Payments Plans.
- Cards from the same bank can be grouped or shown one by one.

The month you can be debt-free
Choose snowball (smallest balance first) or avalanche (highest interest first), set your extra monthly payment, and Kuentaly calculates the payoff on your device: the debt-free month, the interest saved compared with paying only the minimums and what to pay on each card.
- Edit each card's interest rate and minimum to match your statement.
- Premium: optional AI tips based on anonymized numbers (Card 1, Card 2) and your average income and spending.
- New to the methods? Read avalanche vs snowball.

How it works
Create your account with a 6-digit code sent to your email, then add each card or upload a statement and let Kuentaly create it.
Drop in the PDF. The balance, minimum and due date fill in, and the app checks them against your records.
Turn on reminders, register your payments and watch the debt-free date get closer.
And everything around your cards
Expenses fill themselves
On iPhone, a one-time Shortcuts setup sends your bank's purchase alerts to Kuentaly, which adds merchant, amount and card.

Frequently asked questions
Can Kuentaly remind me when my credit card payment is due?
Yes. Turn on notifications and choose how many days before the due date you want a reminder. Reminders are checked while the app is open or running in the background, so keep it installed on your home screen.
Which banks' credit card statements can it read?
It has built-in readers for MBNA, CIBC (including Costco and Amazon cards), Scotiabank, PC Financial and Canadian Tire / Triangle, and it can read many other layouts automatically. If a statement is unfamiliar, you can point at the balance, minimum and due date once, and it remembers.
Does Kuentaly need my bank password?
No. It never asks for your bank password and never gets access to your inbox. You upload statements yourself, and bank alerts reach the app through a one-time Shortcuts automation, a forwarded email or a Gmail or Outlook connection you control.
Is my statement sent to an AI?
Not by default. PDFs are read on your device with no AI. The optional “Analyze with AI” button is a Premium feature for hard-to-read statements and only sends the statement you pick.
What is the difference between the snowball and the avalanche?
The avalanche pays the highest interest rate first and costs the least interest. The snowball pays the smallest balance first and gives quicker wins. Kuentaly calculates either one for your cards.
How much does it cost?
You can try everything free for 7 days. After that you can keep the free plan, with ads, or go Premium from $3 CAD a month.
Does it work in Spanish?
Yes. Kuentaly is available in English, Spanish and French. This page is also available in Spanish.
